Controller does not turn on

Symptoms

• Nopower on the remote

Solution

• Check the batteries in a Known good device such as a wireless mouse, etc.

Check Battery Contacts.

If device is not taking power:

• open remote.

• check continuity as follows

If it is unreliable, or if there is battery acid on the plate, remove the spring from the plate, and put it in a small container of white vinegar. If there is a large amount of acid on the plate, it might be best to remove the plate and put it in white vinegar. Resolder the plate back onto the logic board. Test. Guide imported from the ol wiki
